Teknos, a manufacturer of paint and coating products, is collaborating with ProdLib by having a product library on our platform. The library is available for Revit and ArchiCAD, and it contains not only paint products but also a very handy tool for creating paint reports automatically.
In Revit, the user is able to choose the right paint from a wide range of colours, and then paint the desired facades or other components on their Revit project. Paints appear in quantity calculation lists, where you can view product information such as acreage and gloss. In Revit, the paint selector helps the designer choose the right paint for the object, which makes working with the program smoother.
In ArchiCAD, the user can use the Teknos exterior colours easily. The designer only needs to download the paint library into their project, after which the different surfaces can be painted with the ArchiCAD surface painter.
In the library, there is also a tool for creating paint reports automatically. The tool is integrated into the Revit software. When a designer paints surfaces with Teknos products, the tool creates an automatically generated paint report. The report includes information on the surface area of the painted components, the paints used, the colour shades etc.
The Teknos product library is available in Finnish.
Download the library from ProdLib. After the installation, you'll have an access to the library from within Revit or ArchiCAD software.
