The Finnfoam library in ProdLib provides designers with free BIM objects and CAD images of insulation solutions.
The Finnfoam library includes insulation solutions for ground floors, ventilated floors, exterior walls, attic floors, inverted roofs and green roofs.
The designer can search for the right solution based on the building component, body material or insulation material. Ready-made energy-efficient buildups can be found from Finnfoam, FF-EPS and FF-PIR. Finnfoam’s insulation materials are suitable for various purposes, all the way from frost insulation to attic floor insulation.
All the structural details are saved in CAD and PDF format. In addition, the solutions can be inserted into the Revit program as well.
If the designer can’t find a ready-made suitable solution for their project, or you want to change e.g. the thickness of some solution, you can modify the buildups to fit your needs. The designer can customize the structural solution by clicking the Configure button. After this, the buildup can be freely modified according to your own needs. All standard thicknesses of Finnfoam’s products are stored in the material library. After making the changes, the designer can save the solution or insert it directly into CAD or Revit software. (Note. The Revit add-on only works when you open the Finnfoam library from within the Revit program.)
You can download the Finnfoam library free of charge from the ProdLib software. After installing the library, you will get access to all Finnfoam design material. The library is compatible with Revit and CAD software, and it can also be used as a standalone desktop version. In addition, the files can be individually downloaded from the online version of ProdLib: WebLib.
You’ll find both the ProdLib download button and the WebLib search bar on the right-side panel of this page.
The library is available in Finnish and Swedish.
During its almost 40-year history, Finnfoam has grown into one of the leading manufacturers of plastic-based thermal insulation. The roots of thermal insulation expertise are deep in Finnish frost. The Finnfoam Group is known for its quality, product development and reliability.
